My Awning on My Slide Hangs Up

Question:My awning on my slide out hangs up when i to open it?

Robbie: Sorry, but I'm going to need more information to answer this question. From what I read you have a slide out topper that is hanging up when you open the slide, correct? Does it hang up when you close the slide? Is the tube bent the fabric rolls onto? Is the fabric touching the slide when it opens causing it to drag? It could be it only needs adjusting or the tension spring is bad inside the tube.

Slide out Aluminum Cover strip next to the coach
by: Lonnie

Both of our Slide out Aluminum Cover strips (next to the coach) drop & catch the slide out preventing it from going out & coming in all the way. I have to go out & manually lift them up while my wife runs the slides. How can I fix them to run properly?
