Heater Brand in Our RV

by Jackie Guymon
(Kamas Utah)

Question: I own a 1991 town and country carriage 5th wheel the heater went out I don't know if it's the heater or just the fan motor. I've tried finding where the heater is and can't I have no way of getting it to Salt lake to have someone look at it. i live in kamas Ut and would appreciate any help i could get.

Thank you Jackie

Robbie:
Hi Jackie,
Try walking around the trailer and finding the exhaust to the furnace first. It will be easier to locate access to the furnace after you locate the exhaust. Take pictures of all sides of the trailer and e-mail them to me at Ifixrvs@aol.com and I'll tell you where it is and maybe how to get to it. Some furnaces are accessed through a storage compartment behind a false wall, but without pictures its hard for me to tell you more.

Good luck,
Robbie

Robbie Warford, San Diego RV Repair

Hi, I'm Robbie. Welcome to Money-Saving-RV-Repair.com!

Like the name implies, this site is all about helping you save money while keeping your RV in tip-top shape--and that is all about you having the knowledge to do so.

I've been a technician in the RV industry for 30 years, operating out of San Diego, California. And let me tell you, I love my job.

But I also love empowering RVers with the knowledge they need to make the right decision on repairs, or to make the fix themselves--and that, my friend, is the reason for this website. I hope you enjoy.

Or, learn more about me, my RV service practice, & this website here.
